Arrived in Provence thirty years ago, painter of sacred legends of Iran, Rahim Najfar became a lover interprets its new adopted country.

Born in 1945 in Tehran, Rahim Najfar studied at Conservatory
Art in Tehran from 1964 to 1968.
Between 1965 and 1975, he
he prepared a Bachelor of Arts in Tehran and completed his studies in France. He succeeded a Master of Arts in 1977 and a DEA History and Civilization at Aix-Marseille University in 1984.
From 1977 to 1982, he teached drawing and painting at Farabi university and at Art University of Tehran.
From 1996 to 1998, he teached drawing and painting at Aix-Marseille University in the departure of time available.
Since then he has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions worldwide.
In 1998 he opened his studio gallery in the village of Bonnieux, with his wife Suzanne.
